The Greek Medical Code of Ethics (Law 3481/2005)[1] has several deeply problematic provisions which prioritize a doctor’s “conscience” (i.e. the doctor’s religious beliefs) over the patient’s rights, and especially the rights of women and LGBTQI+ persons.
